JGA Honored With Three Retail Design Awards

Apr 02, 2008 - International retail strategy and design firm, JGA was honored with three Retail Design Awards at the 37th Annual ARE (Association of Retail Environments - formerly NASFM) Awards Event held during GlobalShop. Things Remembered won a Store Fixture Award for its unique jewelry case displays and both the Timberland Outdoor Performance Exhibit and The North Face in Soho received Special Recognition for Green Awareness.

JGA chairman, Ken Nisch commented on the successful designs, “Things Remembered uses a set of unique fixture solutions to create distinctive presentations, introducing gifting and personalization ideas for the merchandise.”

About Timberland, Mr. Nisch said, “The objective was to create an Outdoor Performance trade show booth building on Timberland’s commitment to environmental accountability leveraging its “nutrition label” concept, incorporating repurposed objects maximizing operational flexibility, while minimizing negative environmental impact.”

Mr. Nisch added, “Recycled and environmentally friendly materials and the use of minimally executed construction components including energy efficient lighting contribute to The North Face’s eco-friendly culture.”
